Brian Shellock, senior security analyst at Lehigh Valley Health Network, a large hospital system serving eastern Pennsylvania, says a sizable event-per-day volume flattened his first SIEM tool, essentially turning it into a security and compliance nonentity, he says. “We were getting more than 100 million events per day from just half of our systems, and it couldn’t handle the volume. For the past two years, however, Shellock has been using EventTracker without any problems. “It doesn’t miss a beat,” he says.
