Full View

This option helps you to view Full View of monitored computers.  In Full View, WhatChanged compares two latest Snapshots and displays the difference in Snapshots that includes Addition, Deletion and Modification of files, folders and registry keys, and all other unaltered items. You can also select Snapshots for comparison from the drop-down lists.

To view Full View of monitored Computers

  1. If WhatChanged displays the Groups view, when more than one computer is monitored. Double-click a computer on the right pane.

Double-click the computer on the System Bar, if you have selected the option to display the System Bar.

WhatChanged displays the Change Browser.

Note: If you click the toggle button when WhatChanged displays the Groups view, then WhatChanged displays the WhatChanged message box.

  1. Click the View menu and select the Full View option.

Click the toggle button on the toolbar.

WhatChanged displays the shortcut menu.

From the shortcut menu, choose Full View.

  1. Expand the Drives or Registry trees and click an item.  WhatChanged displays the Full View.

  2. Move the mouse pointer over the items on the left and right panes.  WhatChanged displays the mouse over tool tip about the status of the item.

  3. Double-click the item on the right pane to view comparison details.

Right-click the item.

WhatChanged displays the shortcut menu.

From the shortcut menu, choose Compare details.

WhatChanged displays the comparison details.

Note: To view comparison details, right-click the node on the left pane. WhatChanged displays the shortcut menu.  From the shortcut menu, choose Compare Details option.  This right-click option is not available for Registry nodes.
