Executive Team

A. N. Ananth, CEO
As the co-founder and CEO of Prism Microsystems. Ananth was one of the original architects of the EventTracker product offering, Prism’s enterprise log management solution. With a extensive background in product development and operations for telecom network management, he has consulted for many companies on their compliance strategy, audit policy and automated reporting processes. He is a leading expert in IT compliance with over 20 years experience in IT-control and operations and speaks frequently on these topics. He was involved in product development for various companies including Ciena, Westinghouse Wireless and Equatorial Communications. He holds a MSEE from the University of Texas and remains active in strategic product direction at Prism.

Jagat Shah, CTO
As the co-founder and CTO of Prism Microsystems. Jagat conceived and authored the original implementation of "WhatChanged", which is now the Change Management component of EventTracker. He is also an expert in the area of security event correlation and best practices for SIEM. Over a 25 year career in IT, he has experienced all aspects of the product life cycle from development to operations. Previous positions include Digital Equipment Corporation and Boeing where he led a team to define security models for Windows, Database and Unix in large and medium enterprises. At Prism, he provides technology direction to the sales process. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Boston University.

Steve Lafferty, Vice President of Marketing
As V.P. of Marketing at Prism Microsystems, Steve Lafferty oversees all marketing and product strategy, positioning and branding, press and analyst relations, marketing communication, lead generation and advertising. He brings to the company over 20 years of global experience in strategic software marketing and product management with a proven track-record of successful new product launches. Prior to joining Prism, Steve served as Vice President of Marketing for Aberro, where he launched AberroTest, a radically different approach to automated software testing. He has held various senior-level marketing and strategy positions at well known software companies such as Manugistics, IONA, Object Design, Cadre and Green Hills, and has served as a consultant to a number of small emerging software companies. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Northeastern University in Boston MA.

Jack Stose, Vice President of Sales
Jack Stose serves as VP of Sales at Prism Microsystems and is responsible for leading and implementing global sales initiatives. He has over 20 years of management experience in the software industry with a strong track record of increasing revenues as well as developing, implementing and managing effective sales strategies and teams. Prior to joining Prism, Jack held vice president and senior sales management positions in high-growth technology companies including portal software developer Sequoia Software where he helped grow annual sales from $1 million to $19 million leading to a successful IPO in 2001. He also led significant revenue growth, channel development and enterprise sales teams for Citrix and eOriginal.

Isaac Thompson, Director of Sales Engineering and Training
As Director of Sales Engineering and Training for Prism Microsystems, Isaac provides technical input for product development, conducts customer deployment and training sessions and works with clients to help them meet regulatory compliance mandates. Isaac brings over 15 years of experience from a variety of system administration and management roles, and specializes in event log management, Active Directory auditing, all versions of Windows, and audit policy. He is MCSE certified and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.
