Prism Microsystems named finalist in GSN’s annual homeland security awards
EventTracker recognized as a leader in the Security Incident and Event Management category

Columbia MD, October 7th 2009 -- Prism Microsystems, developers of the most comprehensive and feature-rich Security Information and Event Log Management (SIEM) solution in the industry, has been named a finalist in the 1st annual homeland security awards by GSN (Government Security News) Magazine. This marks yet another accolade for EventTracker, which has already received recognition from SC Magazine, InfoSecurity Products Guide and CODiE awards in 2009.

EventTracker, Prism’s SIEM solution, was selected as a finalist in the Security Incident and Event Management category following a comprehensive evaluation by a panel of judges comprised of industry experts from think tanks, non-profit organizations, academia and government. The process was overseen by GSN’s editor-in-chief, Jacob Goodwin.
