Prism Microsystems Names Steve Lafferty VP Of Marketing
High-tech marketing specialist to assume full responsibility for all marketing initiatives
Columbia, MD, December 11, 2006 - Prism Microsystems, Inc., the leading provider of powerful practical solutions for enterprise event management, today announced that industry veteran Steve Lafferty will immediately assume responsibility for all marketing and product strategy, corporate and product positioning, and marketing communications, including web presence, lead generation, analyst, media and tradeshow relations, advertising and general sales support.
Lafferty brings to Prism Microsystems more than 20 years of marketing and management experience for emerging and established software technology companies. He recently served as Vice President of Marketing for automated software testing tools company Aberro, Inc., based in Rockville, Maryland. Over his career Steve has served in a variety of senior marketing and management roles in market leading companies such as Manugistics, Iona, eXcelon, Sterling Software, Cadre and Green Hills Software. Steve began his career at OASYS, a provider of embedded development tools.
